Durango & Silverton # 482

Originally Built by Baldwin in 1925 among DRGW K-36 Class. Originally DRGW #482, the locomotive was retired in 1962. It was put into service on the C&TS in 1970. It was moved to the DSNG 1991.

Here, #482 has pulled into Silverton with the second train of the morning. The fireman is doing a quick inspection of the running gear while waiting for the passengers to disembark. Soon #482 will back it's train to the Silverton wye for service and turning for the return to Durango. Photo date 2010.
